About Us
The STI Hub @ SVECW is well equipped with upcoming technologies and good infrastructure and well experienced Academicians and Industry people would create platform to enhance the livelihood of target area SC population. The STI Hub infrastructure includes work space, office equipment, network capital and the required technical resources. The interventions in the STI Hub improves the health and economic conditions of the target population by transform into skilled workforce in their respective jobs.
Objectives:
To produce moisture free copra using solar dryers and validate the same using computer vision based auxiliary system.
To make use of coconut oil for the preparation of herbal soaps.
To develop a data base of general health of target population and take appropriate measures for sustenance of health based on regression analysis.
To make use of virgin coconut oil for the preparation of herbal soaps.
To manufacture activated charcoal from coconut shell.
To make rope from coconut fiber.
To establish packing and preparation of coconut water.
To establish facility for preparation of coconut vinegar and coconut shell powder.
